When FORUM was founded in 1994, there were no digital SLR cameras or mobile telephones available, internet speed was unbelievably slow, the standard computer had a RAM of 16MB, and the only way for photographers to submit their work was in person. We did not know then that we were only a few years from a technological evolution. In just three years we had a set up a part of our picture archives and made them available on the web. Our archives were began by the scanning of a vast number of pictures and material. During this time a myriad of photographers joined the agency and as FORUM grew more agencies sought to work with us and sentt us their photographs. The picture files became heavier and our IT department costs grew extensively. Kada je FORUM osnovan 1994. nije bilo digitalnih SLR kamera niti mobilnih telefona, a Internet veza je bila nevjerojatno spora. Standardno računalo je imalo 16MB RAM i jedini način na koji su fotografi mogli predati svoje radove je bilo osobno. Tada nismo znali da smo samo nekoliko godina od tehnološke evolucije. U samo 3 godine postavili smo dio svoje arhive i omogućili da bude dostupna na internetu. Naša arhiva je započeta skeniranjem ogromnog broja fotografija i materijala. Tijekom tog vremena mnogo se fotografa pridružilo agenciji i kako je FORUM rastao sve je više agencija željelo surađivati s nama i slati nam svoje fotografije. Datoteke su postajale sve veće i troškovi našeg IT odjela su rasli.
In time, a History Department which develops new sources and stores old collections was formed in our agency. We co-operate with historians and collectors. We possess in our archives pictures from free lance photographers as well as museum collections. Every month, our historical collection increases by about 4000 new pictures. In addition to our extensive historical collection, we have created a celebrity picture portal which is updated daily, www.forumgwiazd.com.pl. It contains pictures with captions of the hottest news regarding popular local and International stars. Through our portal, we guarantee our clients up to date information on interviews with celebrities, the parties they attend and the film sets they grace. Tijekom vremena razvio se povijesni odjel, koji razvija nove i sprema stare kolekcije. Surađujemo s povjesničarima i kolekcionarima. U arhivama imamo fotografije vanjskih fotografa, kao i muzejske zbirke. Svaki mjesec naša povijesna zbirka raste za oko 4.000 novih fotografija. Također smo napravili i portal s fotografijama slavnih osoba koji se ažurira na dnevnoj bazi: www.forumgwiazd.com.pl. Sadrži fotografije najnovijih vijesti vezanih za lokalne i svjetske zvijezde. Kroz naš portal osiguravamo da klijenti dobivaju najnovije informacije i intervjue s poznatima, zabave na kojima se pojavljuju i filmske setove na kojima rade.
Our team consists of over 20 people, many of which have worked with us from the very beginning. Our clients are local and international newspapers and magazines, which include „Life-style” “kobieca” and “people” magazines. They also comprise of Television stations, Website editors, Public Relations officers, as well as advertising agencies. Naš tim se sastoji od više od 20 ljudi, mnogi od kojih su radili s nama od samog početka. Naši klijenti su lokalne i internacionalne novine i magazini - neki od njih su „Life-style” “kobieca” i “people” magazini. Također surađujemo s TV postajama, internetskim urednicima, PR i reklamnim agencijama.
