CTK is a public medium whose operation is financed through its own commercial activity and it is not subsidised by public funds. CTK's Multimedia Service offers 450 to 600 news items a day, approximately 300 of its own news and illustrative photos, plus photos from represented partner agencies from all over the world. There are now over one million photos in the digitised part of the CTK photo archive, and this number continues to grow. When FORUM was founded in 1994, there were no digital SLR cameras or mobile telephones available, internet speed was unbelievably slow, the standard computer had a RAM of 16MB, and the only way for photographers to submit their work was in person. We did not know then that we were only a few years from a technological evolution. In just three years we had a set up a part of our picture archives and made them available on the web. Our archives were began by the scanning of a vast number of pictures and material. During this time a myriad of photographers joined the agency and as FORUM grew more agencies sought to work with us and sentt us their photographs. The picture files became heavier and our IT department costs grew extensively. Keď bola v roku 1994 založená agentúra FORUM, neboli k dispozícii digitálne zrkadlovky ani mobilné telefóny, rýchlosť internetu bola neuveriteľne pomalá, štandardný počítač mal 16 MB RAM a jediným spôsobom, ako mohli fotografi posielať svoje práce, bolo osobné stretnutie. Vtedy sme ešte netušili, že nás od technologickej evolúcie delí len niekoľko rokov. Iba za tri roky sme spracovali časť našich fotografických archívov a sprístupnili ich na webe. Naše archívy vznikali skenovaním obrovského množstva fotografií a materiálov. Za ten čas sa k agentúre pripojilo nespočetne veľa fotografov a ako FORUM rástlo, stále viac agentúr sa snažilo s nami spolupracovať a zasielať nám svoje fotografie. Súbory snímok boli stále väčšie a náklady nášho IT oddelenia značne vzrástli.
In time, a History Department which develops new sources and stores old collections was formed in our agency. We co-operate with historians and collectors. We possess in our archives pictures from free lance photographers as well as museum collections. Every month, our historical collection increases by about 4000 new pictures. In addition to our extensive historical collection, we have created a celebrity picture portal which is updated daily, www.forumgwiazd.com.pl. It contains pictures with captions of the hottest news regarding popular local and International stars. Through our portal, we guarantee our clients up to date information on interviews with celebrities, the parties they attend and the film sets they grace. Postupom času vzniklo v našej agentúre archívne oddelenie, ktoré spracováva archívne kolekcie. Spolupracujeme s historikmi a zberateľmi. Vo svojom historickom archíve máme snímky od jednotlivých fotografov aj múzejné zbierky. Každý mesiac sa náš historický archív rozrastie o približne 4 000 nových snímok. Okrem rozsiahleho historického archívu sme vytvorili portál s fotografiami celebrít, ktorý je denne aktualizovaný, www.forumgwiazd.com.pl. Obsahuje fotografie s popismi najhorúcejších noviniek týkajúcich sa populárnych lokálnych aj medzinárodných hviezd. Prostredníctvom nášho portálu zaručujeme našim klientom aktuálne informácie o rozhovoroch s celebritami, večierkoch, na ktorých sa zúčastňujú, a filmových scénach, v ktorých hrajú.

Our clients are local and international newspapers and magazines, which include „Life-style” “kobieca” and “people” magazines. They also comprise of Television stations, Website editors, Public Relations officers, as well as advertising agencies.
